Nekotronics thinks shipping is really important. Nothings worse than getting excited about your latest purchase only to find it’s being sent with a bad courier or arrives poorly packaged and damaged.
To combat shipping problems Nekotronics has selected and tested many shipping services over many years and only uses services we are confident in.
Nekotronics ships 3 times a week to ensure that dispatch times are as quick as possible. Once your order has shipped you will receive your tracking number (if applicable) in your shipping confirmation email.
Please note if you want to insure your package you should choose a service that provides this. Please be aware that many shipping insurance policies are shaky at best and do not cover damage and usually only loss. Since 2020 the prices for insurance have sky rocketed too. To combat this Nekotronics packs packages very well and only uses trusted services. Loss and damaged packages are rare so please do not worry too much.

Royal Mail special delivery
Special delivery is an affordable next day service offered via royal mail. This service is highly dependable, with low loss and damage rates. Packages are automatically insured up to £1000 where appropriate and require a signature on delivery.
Applicable to – 500 series modules and DIY parts
Courier next day – DPD or UPS
For larger items a courier will be used. Nekotronics tried and tested favourite are UPS and DPD. Nether company has lost a Nekotronics package in 8 years of use. Both services are next day and will be used interchangeably depending on the package size. They are fully tracked and require a signature on delivery.
Insurance is not a standard but can be arranged at an extra fee.
Applicable to – 19″ rack units and larger 500 series orders.
Royal mail 1st class
For small DIY or PCB orders royal mail 1st class is the best option. 1-2 days delivery is the average. No signature is required meaning audio goodness can be put through your letterbox.

Royal Mail International delivery is an affordable international service offered via royal mail in the UK. This service is dependable, with low loss and damage rates. Packages are automatically insured up to £250 as standard and require a signature on delivery. Delivery rates and times vary for countries but anywhere from 5-10 days for delivery.
Applicable to – 500 series modules, PCB’s and DIY parts
Courier – DPD or UPS
